I created TALA By Tala Alamuddin with a simple belief: beautiful things should make you feel something.
Born from necessity and a love of unapologetic self-expression, TALA has evolved into a world of statement accessories and fine jewellery, designed to celebrate individuality, confidence and the many wonderful sides of being a woman.
From handbags that refuse to blend into the background to fine jewellery that invites you to pause, each creation brings together distinctive design, thoughtful functionality and a little unexpected attitude.
My latest chapter, I DO ME™, takes that philosophy somewhere even more personal. Fine jewellery that celebrates self-commitment, finding your calm and the importance of choosing yourself.
Because I've always believed that what we wear should reflect more than our personal style. It should tell a little of our story, celebrate who we are and remind us of who we're becoming.
Alongside creativity and craftsmanship, empathy, sustainability and supporting communities remain central to my vision for TALA.

We spend so much of our lives showing up for everyone else. Our families, our careers, our relationships and the endless little demands of everyday life.
Somewhere along the way, remembering ourselves can become something of an afterthought.
I wanted to change that.
I DO ME™ was born from a deeply personal belief that the relationship we have with ourselves deserves just as much love, attention and commitment as the relationships we build with others.
A fine jewellery collection bringing together intricate craftsmanship, exquisite detailing and an unexpected element: movement.
At the heart of the collection are designs that invite interaction. A gentle touch. A delicate turn. A small, intentional moment to pause.
The movement is the function. Calm is the invitation. Self-commitment is the meaning.
These are pieces designed not simply to adorn, but to become personal reminders of confidence, individuality and the importance of making room for ourselves.

Because why should we wait for someone else to celebrate us?

Design with Intention
I've always loved fashion that makes an entrance. But what matters just as much to me is what happens beyond the beautiful exterior.
Since launching TALA in 2020, I've had the privilege of watching my creations find their way into wardrobes around the world. From royal weddings and fashion week catwalks to women simply determined to make an ordinary Tuesday look rather extraordinary.
With roots in Singapore and launches in New York, London, Paris, Chengdu and New Delhi, TALA has grown into an international community united by individuality and a shared appreciation for beautiful, purposeful design.
Whether creating fine jewellery or statement accessories, my approach remains rooted in thoughtful functionality, distinctive craftsmanship and the belief that luxury can carry meaning beyond aesthetics.
And beyond the collections themselves, I've always wanted to use the opportunities TALA creates to champion women, celebrate diverse communities and support causes close to my heart.

We carefully deconstruct your previously loved pieces, using our TALA specification book to reinvent their leather, hardware and beautiful little details into an entirely new design.
The result? A one-of-a-kind creation with a little history and a fabulous future.
NOTHING WASTED. EVERYTHING REIMAGINED.
Sustainability should never mean compromising on style. We make thoughtful use of existing materials, and when suitable remnants remain, they might even become an unexpected little extra. Earrings, a cuff, an anklet or something wonderfully personal. Anything we cannot reuse is considered for appropriate recycling wherever possible.
NO OLD HANDBAG? NO PROBLEM, DARLING.
Our own TALA treasure trove of samples, prototypes and leather remnants is ready for reinvention too. Our Designer
Hello! I'm Tala Alamuddin, a British-Lebanese designer, mother, entrepreneur and Founder and Creative Director of TALA by Tala Alamuddin.
My journey began in Singapore, shortly after the arrival of my daughter, Mia.
Navigating motherhood, my multicultural identity and the wonderfully unpredictable demands of modern womanhood, I found myself searching for accessories that could keep up with every side of my life.
Beautiful, bold, practical and unapologetically individual.
I couldn't quite find what I wanted. So I designed it myself.
What started as a personal necessity soon became something much bigger. A celebration of women, their individuality and their freedom to embrace every version of themselves.
Today, my creative journey has evolved from statement accessories into the intimate world of fine jewellery.
With I DO ME™, I wanted to explore something particularly close to my heart: our relationship with ourselves.
I've always adored jewellery, but I wanted to create pieces that offered more than beauty alone. Something personal. Something interactive. A little reminder to pause, reconnect and honour ourselves amid the whirlwind of everyday life.
Movement became my way of bringing that sentiment to life.
As a designer, I'm continually drawn to the meeting point between daring and elegance, creativity and functionality, and the unexpected details that transform something beautiful into something meaningful.
For me, fashion has never been simply about how the world sees us.
It's about how we choose to see ourselves.
And if one of my creations makes you feel extraordinary, then I think it's doing its job rather well.

Our Approach to Sustainability
I've always believed that true luxury should be considered, not careless.
At TALA, sustainability is an ongoing commitment to making thoughtful choices, valuing resources and finding creative ways to give beautiful materials a meaningful purpose.
My approach began with our handbags.
Crafted using existing leather sourced from stock held by our partner ateliers or supplied by our customers, our bags celebrate the potential of materials that already exist.
I also take a considered approach to selecting components, hardware and finishing materials, continually looking for opportunities to improve as our collections evolve.
Resourcefulness has always been part of TALA's personality.
I love creating accessories that work harder for their place in your wardrobe. Transformable designs, versatile details and pieces that adapt to the many sides of your day.
And then there's something particularly close to my heart.
Through Totally Reloved, we give pre-loved handbags a fresh perspective, transforming existing pieces into individual TALA creations through thoughtful design and craftsmanship.
A little reinvention. A lot of personality. And one less reason to start from scratch.
As TALA continues to evolve, including our journey into fine jewellery, so does my responsibility to approach each collection thoughtfully, consider its materials and production processes, and continue learning along the way.
Because I believe true luxury is about more than what we own.
It's about what we value.

Behind every TALA creation are the talented hands and skilled minds that bring it to life.
From the craftsmanship behind our statement accessories to the intricate detailing of our fine jewellery, I believe the people involved in creating beautiful things deserve just as much consideration as the finished pieces themselves.
At TALA, I am committed to building meaningful relationships with production partners who share my values of respect, responsibility and thoughtful craftsmanship.
When selecting our ateliers and production partners, I prioritise those who demonstrate a commitment to fair working practices, safe conditions and the wellbeing of their teams.
Fair remuneration, employee welfare and responsible production are important considerations in the partnerships I choose to build and develop.
I also believe in recognising the skills, knowledge and artistry of the communities behind our collections, supporting opportunities that value both their craftsmanship and their contribution.
For me, ethical production isn't a fashionable finishing touch.
It's an ongoing commitment to doing business thoughtfully, fostering trust and continually looking for ways to improve.
Because beautiful things should make you feel good. And that should extend to the people who make them, too.
Standing up for Sisterhood
I've never believed that a woman's ambitions, individuality or happiness should come with boundaries. Or require anyone else's permission.
As a woman, mother, designer and entrepreneur, I know that life can be a wonderful balancing act of expectations, responsibilities and the occasional raised eyebrow.
But I've also learnt something rather beautiful along the way.
When women support women, extraordinary things happen.
For me, sisterhood isn't simply a sentiment. It's celebrating each other's successes, embracing our differences, sharing opportunities and finding the courage to lift one another up, particularly when life isn't quite so fabulous.
Through TALA, I've always wanted to create more than beautiful things. I want to build connections, champion confidence and use my voice and platform to support women and communities whose stories deserve to be heard.
Whether through charitable initiatives, meaningful partnerships or simply encouraging women to embrace who they are, I believe empathy, kindness and respect have the power to create genuine change.
And as TALA evolves, that belief only grows stronger.
My I DO ME™ philosophy is about recognising your own worth, honouring your individuality and remembering to choose yourself.
But choosing yourself doesn't mean leaving anyone else behind.
Quite the opposite.
Because there's room for all of us to shine.
And I have absolutely no intention of dimming the lights.
